The Scribe's Codex - Leather Journal/Grimoire

This luxury journal has been decorated in the style of the finely-bound tomes and codices of antiquity. Bound in a beautifully smooth goatskin leather, the cover is tooled in gold using techniques and skills acquired over the course of countless hours of practice and historical research. A classic presentation, this beautifully gilded book will look great on a shelf among antique fine bindings, or simply displayed on its own on your writing desk.

This journal will be made to order, so wait times will vary. Leather may need to be special ordered depending on color. I will contact you after purchase if wait time will be longer than 3 weeks. Please feel free to contact me at with any questions about wait times or custom tooling!

Black endpapers enclose 360 blank pages made from fine Strathmore writing paper, watermarked for proof of quality and strong enough to accept a wide variety of inks without bleeding through. (The watermark is very faint unless viewed with direct light behind the page, and will not obstruct your writing or drawings.)
